Salary £22000 (salary review and rise after 3 months' probation)
Shift Pattern - nights 6pm till production finish usually about 3am Monday to Thursday and Sundays.
Friday 3pm till finish.
5 Shifts a week on a rota basis
21 days holiday excluding bank holidays 

Responsibilities:

  • Learning the Bread Mixes and Moulding
  • Learning Patisserie preparation 
  • Oven Work
  • Packing 
  • Working alongside the Master baker and Senior Baker to continue learning the trade

No Experience Needed just enthusiasm, willingness to work hard and be a team player.

We are a family run business with two shops and 4 sandwich vans on the road selling to local businesses our sandwiches and cakes etc in the local area. 
We pride ourselves on the bread and cakes being made fresh every day. We have very loyal wholesale customers and are gaining new ones all the time. 

We are based in Thame Oxfordshire(OX9 3EX) which is also on the Buckinghamshire boarder near Aylesbury.

The Cottage Bakery in the market town of Thame, Oxfordshire has been established for over 30 years. Andrew and Jane Webb took over the bakery in 2012 and the business has gone from strength to strength most years.

The Business is a family-owned organisation who pride themselves on looking after the staff and customers with the same empathy and enthusiasm.

We provide a lot of wholesale customers and have a very loyal customer base.

We are always looking for new customers in the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire areas and will not rest on our laurels.

The Bakery makes all its bread, Patisserie, Savouries and sandwiches fresh every day. With the best quality ingredients, we can insure that our customers enjoy the products we offer.

Our Bakers have over 120 years’ experience between them and like to bake the breads the traditional way, as well as embracing the new modern style of breads too.
