We have a spectacular and well renowned company that currently has a vacancy for the position of a Production Operator. The company is based in Haddington and needs someone who is committed, has great communication skills, and knows the dos and don’ts when it comes to product safety procedures.

It’s based in Haddington, and it is preferred that the candidate is living in or around Haddington in order to make the commute. This role is for someone who has good leadership qualities and that will be an astute member of a team.

The Role:

• Providing, in conjunction with others, the company’s requirements for production, packaging and movement of the products daily.
• Must make sure all safety procedures are followed and maintained at the standard that is expected.
• Must comply with all Quality System procedures and keeping all necessary production and packaging records.
• Maintaining facility and packaging equipment.
• Keeping production, packaging and warehousing areas in a hygienic and up to standard condition.
• Dealing with customers and visitors in a respectful, efficient and helpful manner. 

The Candidate:

• Experience in a Production or Warehousing environment – would be beneficial! 
• A well organised person is required for this position.
• Proactive in looking for improvements to the processes associated with the business.
• Must be driven enough to effectively carry out work procedures.
• Must be good with customer communication and service oriented.
• Work well in a team. Be very perceptive and pay close attention to detail.
