Job Details

The primary purpose of the role is to support the financial reporting (weekly, periodic) of the UK BU Transport and Chilled Logistics operations. Support the Business Analyst - TR to focus on driving ongoing performance improvement through robust analysis of cost performance, ensuring key issues and opportunities are raised and manage the variance reporting, to provide a value added support to the operations teams & adhoc insightful analysis.

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Provide support for all analysis, reporting and forecasting all transport 3PL costs and reporting overall site results for ambient. Establish a robust analytical and business process to analyse cost variances on a weekly/period level and provide updates to the Business Analyst - TR
  • Support with weekly, period and quarterly closures to ensure all deadlines are hit. Analyse data and identify risks and opportunities for the flash report and forecast to the Business Analyst CS&L Transport.
  • Play active role in supporting Business Analyst CS&L Transport with forecasting build for 3PL Transport and Chilled Logistics
  • Support the monthly and quarterly Balance Sheet reporting to head office; BSR template, Blackline
  • Provide support and cover for the site TMA administrator and Cost Technician - Warehouse as and when required
  • Responsible for the control of all Purchase Orders & Invoices for Ambient Logistics Transport and Chilled, ensuring that all processes are in place, foster a close relationship with all key suppliers to ensure that service and prices are as required and deal with all invoice queries.
  • Be MyBuy and P2P super user for total Logistics, having the expertise to advise on all aspects of both systems, and train new users. Manage local documents, reports and general 'housekeeping' including the hierarchy for P2P
  • Any other adhoc work required by the Business Analyst CS&L Transport
  • Current Studier/Part qualified CIMA/ACCA with a clear willingness to complete the program
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Hardworking, dedicated and resilient under pressure
  • Self-motivated with good self-organisational skills
  • Able to build a good rapport with internal and external stakeholder
  • Proactive in asking questions when required for key decisions
  • High ability to communicate at all levels in the organisation (shop floor to senior executives).
  • Good understanding of site knowledge
