Job Description: Quality Manager 

Location: Northern Ireland

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead our clients quality assurance efforts for a company based in Northern Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry and a proven track record of ensuring product quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards for the bakery company. Monitor and enforce compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards. Collaborate with production teams to ensure adherence to quality guidelines throughout the baking process. Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and processes to identify areas for improvement. Lead and manage a team of quality control technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. Investigate and resolve quality-related issues, including customer complaints and internal non-conformities. Develop and maintain quality metrics, reports, and documentation to track and communicate performance. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure the quality of raw materials and ingredients used in the bakery. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Stay current with industry trends and advancements to proactively address emerging quality challenges.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Management, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality management within the FMCG sector Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP, and GMP standards. Experience leading quality control teams and managing quality assurance programs. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address quality issues effectively. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and with external partners. Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high product quality standards. Proven ability to drive process improvements and implement best practices.
