Logistics Administrator

We are working with an international business who are specialists in their sector with over a 100 years market knowledge. They are searching for a new Logistics Administrator to support their Supply Chain team and be a key contributor within the business.

Job Role
In this role you will take responsibility for managing the supply chain, processing purchase orders, monitoring shipments, arranging customs clearance, organising storage and outbound logistics to customers.

Responsibilities 
•    Process traders purchase orders
•    Monitor Progress of shipments, notify traders of any changes and advice stores of incoming shipments
•    Process traders purchase orders and raise sales confirmation
•    Liaise with clearing agents to receive all paperwork for prompt clearance
•    Generate sales invoices on GP for delivered orders
•    Liaise with cold store for upcoming shipments and release the stock to the transport company
•    Organise deliveries to customers with transport companies. Ensuring delivery is met customer’s requirement
•    Issuing credit note when required
•    Arranging transport for both UK and EU
•    Maintain relationship with the customers, cold store, transporters and suppliers
•    Receive stock intake into Great plains as soon as notified by cold stores and notify purchase ledger clerk of any amendments to purchase receipts to be reflected on invoicing
•    Ensure that invoices are sent to customers in timely fashion
•    Update stock and shipping schedule sheets
•    Ensure that stocks are accurate both instore and system
•    Managing customers queries/complains and resolving issues in a professional manner
