Job Title: Payroll & Admin Assistant

We are looking for a highly confidential individual to join our team as a Payroll & Admin Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for Monthly payroll, data entry, basic administration to support Head of People and Culture, receptionist duties, and holiday management.


  • Proven experience in payroll administration and data entry is highly preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Proficient in using HR software, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of Sage 50 or other HR management systems would be an advantage.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
  • A professional and friendly manner, with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills


  • Process payroll accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform data entry tasks related to employee records, including preparing new hire paperwork, updating employee information, and managing documentation and general administration tasks as and when required for other Senior Leaders.
  • Provide general administrative support to the People department, including drafting correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining files.
  • Act as point of contact for incoming phone calls and visitors, ensuring a professional and friendly reception experience.
  • Manage holiday requests, maintaining accurate records and coordinating with team members to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Safeguard confidential employee information and handle sensitive HR matters with discretion and professionalism.
  • Assist with HR projects and initiatives as directed by the Head of People.
