 What will the role look like/key responsibilities?

•Responsible for operational standards in LCO Area

•Responsible for reduction of planned downtime and increase line speed through data analyses and systematic CI work

•Responsible to enable and coach operators and technical operators in operational standards

•Contribute to a healthy, inclusive and safe work environment and role model our character mindset

•Ensure awareness and compliance to quality and food safety requirements within LCO Area

•Owns and leads weekly CI meetings for planned downtime and speed loss applying data analyses, structured

•problem solving and improvement tools

•Owns, analyses and tracks asset performance data incl. data quality and completeness

•Owns plan for improvement of OEE for line(s)

•Ensures that the LCO Areas improvement activities are quantified and reflected in OneCI

•Owns operational standards and corresponding competence development in the Line Team

•Defines, process confirms and improves operational standards including OAC

•Trains & coaches Line Team to ensure performance according to operational standards and secure right

•use of IT systems

•Optimizes existing processes by regularly conducting Kaizen workshops, relevant analyses and process confirmations

•Coordinate & support implementation of new digital tools, products & ways of working and secure onboarding of Line Teams

•Initiates and drives Continuous Improvement initiatives in collaboration with Line Team

•Role models by actively using data and deploying lean and APS tools in a structured way

What you’ll need in order to be successful in the role

•Previous experience working within a milk process environment

•Knowledge of LEAN principles and data management

•Our Stourton Dairy can intake upto 2.2 million litres of milk daily

•It produces around 660 million litres of the nation’s favourites per year from 14 automated filling lines.

•From Stourton we produce over 225 SKUs within 10 different product groups, such as Cravendale & BOB filtered milk, creams, alcohol cream, custards and cottage cheese.

•The site has received c.£315 million in investment since 2004 and is in the process of a further c£70 million investment program over the next 3 years.
