This is an exciting role where you will develop and execute shopper and commercial annual plans, ensuring they are strategic, dynamic and evolving the brand year on year. Reporting to the Head of Marketing you’ll research, recommend and share key partner developments, digging into performance analytics to understand the impact different strategies have on the brand; as well as being responsible for converting this insight into a clear action plan to drive growth.
You will be responsible for leading multiple major cross-functional projects, from pack format trails, marketing activation tests and product launches. Starting at project set up all the way through to review and evaluation, you will ensure each initiative lands successfully and feedback is utilised in future plans. In line with the overall brand strategy, you will be responsible for developing the pack / price / promotional architecture to unlock growth, matching commercial requirements with consumer needs.
You’ll also develop compelling and powerful Visibility Plans that will grab shoppers’ attention and stop them in their tracks. Although you won’t have a massive budget, that won’t impede your commercial creativity and boldness to achieve success.
We are looking for an ambitious Shopper Marketing Manager who has a real passion for brands and marketing, alongside an excellent understanding of the UK retail environment. You’ll be highly commercial with a strong aptitude for trade marketing and brand management, as well as strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously. You’ll be happy to work on strategic projects as well as dive into the detail, getting hands on when needed.
You will be exceptional at building relationships across the board and influencing at all levels – both internally and externally with retail partners. Practical in your approach, you’re a strong self-starter with that can bring a creative and innovative edge to your ideas, have excellent communication skills, be able to think on your feet and solve problems efficiently.
Experience within the branded FMCG space is vital, where you can really showcase your expertise of increasing brand presence through your understanding of insights and customer needs.
