Food Technologist

As they continue to expand the Technical team, they are seeking a talented and motivated Technical Technologist to join the dynamic team.

They are in search of a Food Technologist to play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and safety of their food and drink products. While experience with ambient and chilled products is advantageous, it is not mandatory. The Technical Technologist will collaborate with both UK and international suppliers, working towards maintaining compliance with BRC standards, HACCP guidelines, and technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with UK and international suppliers to maintain and enhance product quality and safety.
- Ensure strict compliance with BRC standards, HACCP guidelines, and technical specifications.
- Conduct supplier audits to evaluate performance and adherence to quality standards.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement in our quality control processes.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to address and resolve technical issues.
- Participate in the development of new products and processes.
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Prior experience in a technical role within the food and drink industry is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of ambient and chilled products is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Strong familiarity with BRC standards and HACCP principles.
- Experience in supplier management is highly desired.
- Proficiency in creating and interpreting technical specifications.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary:

£30,000-40,000 dependent on qualifications and previous experience.
