Under direction of the Technical Manager provide support and guidance to ensure food safety and product labelling compliance in accordance with regulations, customer and business requirements.
Efficiently handle and manage all customer complaints liaising with suppliers and customers.
To assist with implementation and maintenance of the BRCGS Storage and Distribution accreditation.
Organise sample for product testing
Action customer requests related to product details in a timely manner.
Collaboratively work with suppliers to ensure Product and Packaging Specifications are completed and assist where necessary.
To assist with Artwork Approval Process from start to finish.
Assisting on projects for own label brands, managed brands and private label.
Key Skills Required:
Degree in Food/Nutrition/Product Development or similar
Proven IT skills and ability to demonstrate working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
Great attention to detail and accuracy with a commitment towards continuous improvement and service excellence
Experience of UK labelling compliance or UK labelling requirements.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong time management and organisational skills
Ability to work to deadlines and be able to prioritize and manage workload
Can-do attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
An understanding or experience of BRC requirements, as well as HACCP – Level 2/Level 3 would be advantageous
