Visiting and auditing 3rd party manufacturers, compiling reports, following up on any non-conformances to support due diligence and driving forwards continuous improvement plans.
Carrying out supplier approval audits
Ensuring quality and food safety standards are in place for all NPD/EPD projects
Identifying and executing improvements in processes, procedures and ways of working within the brands and with the Lotus corporate functions.
Setting supplier KPI’s, investigating complaints, identifying trends and working with suppliers on complaint reduction plans
Raising any non-conformances and working with suppliers to identify root cause and sign off corrective actions.
Key Skills Required:
Knowledge of HACCP and ability to apply the principles practically to different product categories
Good knowledge and awareness of GFSI recognised standards with experience of carrying out audits related to food safety and ideally with a lead auditor qualification
Previous experience of at least 5 years in a technical role, working with cross functional departments and with 3rd party manufacturers or raw material suppliers (preferably both within and outside Europe)
Comfortable performing risk assessments and communicating the outcome of these in an effective way
Excellent communication skills at all levels and across various functions with the ability to make the ‘complex’ ‘simple’
Be self-motivated and keen to develop, with a willingness and desire to learn
This role is hybrid working, 3 days in the office and the rest from home but there must be a willingness to travel globally on occasion too.
