Engineering Team Leader

I am currently seeking an experienced Engineering Team Leader to join a growing team in Wigan. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a group of Mult is killed Engineer engineers on a day & night shift role.
* Lead and motivate a team of engineers, providing guidance and support in their day-to-day activities.
* Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address operational challenges, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and assist in the professional development of team members.
* Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to relevant health and safety regulations and promoting best practices.
* Foster strong communication channels within the team and across different departments to enhance collaboration and productivity.
Qualifications/ Experience
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within an engineering environment.
* Strong technical background in engineering, preferably with expertise in a relevant field.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving common goals.
* Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and the aptitude to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
* Proficiency in using engineering software and tools.
* Flexibility to work day shifts and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
