Reed Food and FMCG have been briefed to recruit for a Production Manager on a permanent basis to join a well-established business. This is a great opportunity to work within a company who have recently won awards for the work they are doing.



Job Title: Production Manager

Location: Newry, Northern Ireland

Pay: £27,000 - £35,000 Per Annum - Dependant on experience

Immediate Start



Experience required:

Experience in directing and supervising production personnel

Experience of supervising/managing a team

Experience of Food Hygiene and importance of good Health and Safety practice and procedures

Possess technical knowledge and adapt at all phases of the manufacturing processes.

Ability to lead and drive continuous improvement.

Strong Customer Service mindset



Key Responsibilities

Proactively manage the production team to adhere to strict food hygiene rules and ensure the daily production is delivered.

Hold regular performance reviews and set objectives for all production staff.

Respond to any management/customer/supplier queries quickly and effectively.

Engage with the production team to ensure the current policies and procedures of the business are fully understood and implemented.
