An innovative manufacturer of a variety of innovative sweet and savoury food products, supplying a range of sectors is offering the opportunity for a talented Marketing Director to head up the marketing function.

The Role
You will be responsible for setting out the marketing agenda and delivering all the marketing activities including media, website, social media, thought leadership, advertising and communication. Working closely with key departments throughout the business to ensure that all marketing strategy is driven forward in line with the company’s vision for the future.  You will play a key strategic role in the launch of new products overseas as well as in the UK.

Key Accountabilities
Ownership of department P&L and Oversee marketing budgets, including budget reviews and approval by management. 
Develop and ensure adherence to marketing operating budget in close partnership with the Finance team. 
Drive marketing strategy and long-term planning across a portfolio of products to increase market share, topline revenue growth and store velocities for the UK and EU markets with the long-range vision of global market expansion. 
Lead the Marketing Department through the planning, development, and execution of marketing initiatives. Set departmental strategies, metrics/KPIs, and priorities, as well as to create or enhance current Marketing SOPs. 
In partnership with the Product Development Team, collaborate on new product launches for both new and existing categories from pipeline ideation to commercialization. 
Be a staunch protector and builder of an iconic brand. Ensure brand strategy is executed consistently across all creative assets and consumer touchpoints. 
Support sales efforts focused on continual growth through existing and new customers. 
Monitors competitive products and marketing activities 
Thinking strategically and creatively to help shape the marketing campaigns,
