Quality Assurance Manager

Eurilait is the English subsidiary of two large French dairies, Laita and Eurial. We import cheese from our parent companies in France, and from other third-party suppliers all over Europe. We then cut and pack the cheese in our Evercreech factory before distributing to our customers across the UK. From local farm shops to the major supermarkets, we tailor our offering to meet each unique set of requirements.

We are looking to recruit a Quality Assurance Manager to join our technical team.

Reporting to the Technical Director, and managing a team of quality technicians, your primary role will be to provide an efficient and professional quality service to the business. You will be responsible for ensuring food safety and food quality remain at the forefront of our business whilst working to ensure the company’s technical agenda is achieved. Some of your other responsibilities will include training and developing your team, internal audits, data analysis to identify trends within the quality function, and monitoring and improving factory standards.

This is an exciting role for someone who is looking to make an impact. Continuous improvement is paramount to our success so you’ll be taking on a role with a lot of scope to make your own as you will be the custodian of the company’s quality standards.

You’ll be an experienced self-starter who works well in a close-knit team but has the ability to communicate and build strong relationships with all quality stakeholders. To be successful, you’ll need to be analytically minded with a keen eye for detail, confident with IT systems and have previous people management experience.

The successful candidate is expected to hold relevant recognised qualifications (e.g., HACCP, Metal Detection, Quality Management or similar food quality/technical services qualifications)
