Interim NPD Process Manager

The Company

This multi-site food manufacturing group produce innovative products for the major retailers.  They have gained new business and are in the process of launching some really exciting products which they need support with and need an accomplished interim who can come in and take the reigns.

Please note a full driving licence is essential for travel between sites. This is a 3-month interim position with the possibility of an extension thereafter.

The Role

The role will be fast-paced and hands-on role where you will manage and motivate a team of process and packaging technologist to launch new and existing products for major retail customers.

You’ll work closely with the Innovation, technical and commercial teams as well as customers to deliver your part of the NPD process.  Although you will have a team, you will still need to be hands on to lead trials, manage launches and liaise with customers to present trial data.

The Person

We need an experienced Process Manager who has proven themselves in a fast paced, high-risk food category and fully understands how to work with major retailers to launch complex products. 

Along with your NPD and Process knowledge, you will be a fantastic manager, able to lead with confidence and bring out the best in your team - recognising talent and encouraging personal development.
