This is one of those opportunities! I know everyone says it, but this lot really are leaders in their field. Whilst others are playing it safe, they have an NPD pipeline stretching far into the distance, they are continually investing in their people, they are boasting consistent growth year on year. Simply put, they are in a fantastic place!
Due to restructure, they have an opening for a Head of Technical. You’d be joining to manage a comfortable sized team of 7 in total, 4 direct reports. The team are ambitious and passionate, from you they’ll need development and support, someone to lean on.
It goes without saying, we really need a proper foodie for this one. Someone passionate about food safety and quality. Someone who understands that not all decisions are black and white. Someone who is happy to pack a suitcase now and then and travel to the other side of the globe to meet with suppliers. We’re not talking loads of travel, maybe 4 global trips per year and then a couple of UK/EU trips per month.
Ideally, you’ll come from a solid background in complex food environments, if you’ve got experience in manufacturing as well as retail then that would be an absolute bonus. People management experience is key, not just management but leadership, proof of where you’ve really coached and developed your team.
