Leading a Technical team of four, you will offer insights and provide essential guidance on technical and quality matters. The site proudly holds AA BRC grade, which you will play a critical part in maintaining, meaning customers can buy in confidence.

Key Responsibilities of the Technical Manager

• Provide specialist expertise to support the food safety culture in the Technical team and broader business
• Stay on top of emerging trends and the policies to support
• With support from the team, maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS)
• Lead internal audits, identifying non-conformances, and collaborate on actionable solutions
• Own the product traceability, withdrawal, and recall testing while overseeing risk assessments for new suppliers and all products
• Consistently evaluate supplier performance through annual reviews, on-site visits, and external audits
• Have a mindset focused on continuous improvement

Skills and Experience

• Demonstrable experience in a Food Safety Management role
• HACCP Level 3/4 Food Safety
• Diligent, organized, adaptable and collaborative approach
• Attention to detail and high level of numeracy and literacy
• Customer-focused with a commitment to customer satisfaction
