A dynamic and driven warehouse / despatch professional is required for a forward thinking, value driven Food Manufacturer who continues to set the benchmark within their sector.  This is a time of real growth an as such are looking to strengthen their Supply Chain operation.

Working on a 4 on 4 off night shift pattern you will report into the Supply Chain Manager and be tasked with achieving total customer satisfaction, through the equipment, technology and above all your team.  This is a key role within the business and you will be the link between the Warehouse / Despatch function and all the internal and external customers.  

Coming from within a fast paced food manufacturing or 3PL provider, you will be currently operating as a Warehouse Manager / Despatch Manager / Despatch Shift Manager / Warehouse Shift Manager and have relevant experience within a high volume picking / packing operation, which is both demanding and pressurised. 

A shift base role  you will manage a core team of roughly 80 and have a charismatic and natural management style – a leader who is able to easily gain the buy in from your team and provide them with the confidence to help them develop their careers.  It will be imperative to build a team which thrives within a fast paced Continuous Improvement environment – one in which excellence is the aim but the expectation!
