Site Services Compliance Coordinator - Oakthorpe
Location: London, GB
Shift pattern: Mon-Fri times tbc

Things we’d love to tell you about our Oakthorpe site
- Arla Oakthorpe has received £30 million investment with more on the horizon
- This investment has been on a state of the art Krones filling line and office revamp
- On average our Oakthorpe dairy produces 800,000 litres of milk per day, which is over 190 million litres yearly
- When Oakthorpe was built it had the largest crane in Europe to lift the sterilised plant in, that’s why the roof is V shaped
As a Compliance Coordinator you will oversee areas such as:
- Legionella
- PUWER
- DSEAR
- PSSR
- LOLER
- PAT Testing
- Fixed wiring
- Ladders
- Emergency Lighting
You will report and work closely with the Site services Team Leader and M&E Manager on all legal and mandatory areas.
There will be other areas for you to oversee such as:
- Overseeing Risk assessments and Method statements in regards to contractor control in line with LOTO and Permit to work as well as training for Engineering team.
- You will also assist the Engineering department with the implementation of our Risk assessments and procedures onto our internal system ensuring that we are up to date.
- Assist as a Site Services Engineer when required in the day to day operational checks of the plants as highlighted below.
- Adhoc maintenance support of site services such as:
- Steam boiler, Waste Heat Boiler and CHP checks and testing in line with legal requirements, Refrigeration plant, Effluent Treatment Plant, Hot & Cold water systems, Cooling tower maintenance, HVAC maintenance, External lighting
What you’ll need to be a successful Compliance Coordinator at Oakthorpe Dairy
- To have good understanding and knowledge of compliance within PSSR/Loler/Legionella/Electrical regulations
- Be an apprenticeship trained Engineer
- A positive and resilient approach to problem solving, team working, and continuous improvement
- Experience having dealt with boilers, refrigeration, water treatment, CHP in a Site Services role
