Agriculture Sustainability Projects Manager - Leeds
Location: Leeds, GB

We are looking for an Agriculture Sustainability Project Manager, to join the UK Customer Agriculture team, working closely with the customer agriculture managers to deliver progress on sustainability on UK farms. This is an exciting newly created role, where you will be responsible for the on-farm delivery of projects across the UK. You will need to recruit farmers onto the projects, either by delivering presentations at farmer meetings or one to one. You will need to be adept at managing data and reporting progress and you will have strong project management experience, ideally within the UK dairy industry.
You will report to the Senior Customer Sustainability Manager UK and will be part of the delivery of the UK’s accelerated customer and brand sustainability programme, managing the on farm delivery of new initiatives.
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY
- Implementation of UK Commercial Sustainability Programme to deliver for customers and the Arla Brand via on farm project delivery and sustainability progress
- Project lead on the full life cycle delivery of sustainability projects on farm, including farmer selection and approach, set up on farm whilst working closely with customer ag managers on communication.
- Support customer agriculture managers with “sell in” and reporting on projects towards customers and farmers
- Collaborate with commercial/communications colleagues to deliver high quality customer partnerships and engagement with project progress
- To support and work closely with others who are running projects (TBD) with learnings, project management and reporting alignment.
REUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE
- Agriculture experience and experience working closely with farmers. Dairy experience is essential.
- Strong project management experience, with a focus on sustainability and agriculture role
- Passion for and expertise in sustainability innovation delivery
- Demonstrated strong communication and stakeholder management experience.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and delegate and support others to manage
