Leading food manufacturer in Scotland seeks an experienced European Environmental and Hygiene Manager to uphold high standards of environmental responsibility and hygiene across its operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Environmental Compliance:
  • Develop and implement policies for compliance with European regulations.
  • Conduct environmental impact assessments and audits.

• Hygiene Standards:
  • Manage and enhance hygiene protocols in manufacturing facilities.
  • Implement and monitor staff hygiene training programs.

• Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
  • Conduct risk assessments related to environmental and hygiene factors.
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks.

• Regulatory Liaison:
  • Serve as the main contact for environmental and hygiene regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with regulations across all sites.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience in a similar role in food manufacturing.
• In-depth knowledge of European environmental and hygiene regulations.
