A truly great new role for a Shift Production Manager has become available at a fantastic family business with over 100 years of history based in North London.

Job Role
To manage and optimise the performance of the manufacturing facility and in turn manage the change required to organise, train and support the staff to maximise the benefits of the manufacturing facility and to optimise production capabilities. To manage the day to day running of the site and specifically factory operations to ensure the company strategy is followed and business objectives are met.

Responsibilities 
•    Manage a team of approx. 30 production operatives in High Care and Low Care
•    Programming production jobs for the packers to complete orders
•    Liaise with production staff to ensure team is aware of KPIs and standards
•    Manage packaging including organising and keeping stock levels correct
•    Complete food safety checks 
•    Support the team in loading drivers in the morning when required
•    Liaise with the drivers to ensure delivery is carried out
•    Liaise with senior management members

Qualifications/Certifications Required
•    Food hygiene 
•    Health and safety
•    Manual handling
•    HACCP principles
•    Allergen awareness training for food
