NPD Assistant in sustainable products within Global NPD team

Operating as the autonomous division of an international group, the business has created a reputation for developing sustainable, vegan and meat based food solutions along with its respected team based culture.

To manage existing and create new customer opportunities across the UK retail space, the Head of UK innovation seeks to appoint an NPD Assistant who will, as part of the wider development team support the groups ambition to increase the speed of development and pace to market of new and exciting concepts into the food to go market.

You will be responsible for a range of activities, which will include:

• Following up of Customer samples and coordinate new supplier agreements.
• Purchasing samples & kitchen supplies/materials for the NPD team
• Assisting NPD with product tests.
• Preparation of Product Samples as required.
• Supporting transition of NPD programs through liaison with production and manufacturing teams

The role is multifaceted and will expose you to a variety of departments with unique experiences, which will enhance you career development with the team and the future.

Ideally, you’ll hold a degree in food or nutrition with a year or 2 experience.  Alternatively, you could be an experience NPD assistant seeking a new challenge.
