Reed Food and FMCG have been briefed to recruit for a Production Manager to join a large food manufacturing business. Our client is looking for someone who can come in and really drive efficiency in their business as they grow from strength to strength.



Job Title: Production Manager (Nights)

Location: Bicester

Pay: £47,000 Per Annum

Immediate Start



Some Key Responsibilities:

Promote a food safety culture, managing resources and activities to ensure all products meet quality standards, ensuring all personnel are trained in Quality Systems and Procedures, constantly reviewing activities to make them as "Simple and Easy" for the operators as possible.

Ensure all personnel are fully trained in Standard Operating Procedures, constantly reviewing activities to make them as "Simple and Easy" for the operators as possible.

Promote a positive health and safety culture and ensure all production personnel are trained in Safe Systems of Work and are aware and understand of their responsibilities within the Health and Safety Policy, ensuring records are maintained in line with company processes.



Person Specification

Lead by example in professional behaviours, appropriate conversations, and use/sharing of sensitive content.

Demonstrate ownership in taking accountability and coach/encourage your teams to follow suit where appropriate.

Appropriately challenge colleagues at all levels, embrace feedback constructively and respect decisions made. Contribute to representing an aligned management team across the business.
