Regional Sales Manager, South West

As both a UK Manufacturer and an importer, this business supplies a wide range of catering and hospitality supplies, including disposables and tableware.

The Role

Responsible for management and development of a portfolio of accounts to protect and grow turnover, increasing profitability. 

Maximise sales and distribution of the products in the sales area.

Accountable for delivering all targets for the region and accounts.

Negotiating with existing and prospective customers, ensuring selling prices give the best possible return. 

Submitting all company reports as required in a timely and accurate manner.

Responsibility for managing the accounts, with support and involvement from other departments where necessary.

Developing and implementing promotional strategy for the designated area and accounts.

Submitting status reports and new account documents.

Combined role selling to distributors as well as some direct sales

Personal Profile

Classically FMCG sales trained

2-3 years in similar B2B role either in catering or retail

Working under your own initiative, able to manage your diary as well as work as part of a team.

Proven experience in establishing rapport and maintaining connections with clients and colleagues

Current clean driving licence.

Good Excel and Word skills essential.

High standard of both written and spoken English

Articulate with professional presentation skills

Generally smart in appearance, outgoing and friendly.

Flexibility to stay away from home as required and to occasionally work outside normal hours
