Our client is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Technologist to join their team at their state-of-the-art facility based in Kent. As a key team member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance and due diligence from their supply partners, fostering strong connections between growers and customers.

The role

• Manage Grower Due Diligence: You'll oversee the critical link between growers and customers, ensuring compliance and maintaining our high standards of quality.
• Data Management: Your keen attention to detail will shine as you manage, collate, and analyse data using Microsoft Excel, providing accurate information to support decision-making processes.
• Support Category Leadership: Get involved in value-adding innovation and research & development initiatives such as variety development, packaging solutions, sustainability, and more. Your insights will drive our business forward.
• Effective Communication: Articulate complex technical information to internal teams and customers, ensuring clear understanding and alignment.

The Ideal Candidate

For this role, you will currently be a Senior QA or a Product Manager within a fresh produce business and you will ideally have experience in fruit / fresh produce. You will have a proven track record of driving quality standards forward and improving processes within a business. You will build good working relationships internally and externally within the business.
