If you do, then we want to hear from you...

We are working closely with a well-established business who over the past several years have been working really hard to develop and build a culture to be proud of. Therefore this role isn't about going in to affect change, it is about going in and helping further develop that and build on some very good foundations.

You will be working very closely with the MD, and although guidance and vision will be a collective perspective, the autonomy to develop what you need, and resource provided, will be at the fore.

About the Role

As Head of Operations, you will report to the Managing Director, overseeing all operational aspects of the business. Ultimately, this will be working at a strategic level, looking at efficiencies and productivity, and ensuring the highest yield is produced, whilst maintained cost-effectiveness for a lot of the major UK retailers. You will have all H&S, Engineering, Supply Chain and Production reporting in to you, and P&L responsibility and oversight for these.

What do you need?
  • Proven experience within a Senior Operational role within Food or Fresh Produce
  • Ability to engage and motive all different levels of the workforce/team
  • Tangible examples of site development, improvements and handling of CAPEX projects.
  • Multi department management, including P&L experience and collaborative management.
