Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of flavours, for the food and beverage industry. With a commitment to excellence and quality assurance, they are seeking a dedicated QA Compliance Officer to join their team in Hampshire.

 

Job Description:

As a QA Compliance Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our client's operations meet all regulatory requirements and quality standards. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

 

  • Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards and guidelines.

 

  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures to uphold product integrity and safety throughout the manufacturing and distribution process.

 

  • Documentation Management: Manage documentation related to regulatory compliance, including product specifications, manufacturing records, and certificates of analysis.

 

  • Audits and Inspections: Coordinate and participate in internal and external audits and inspections, addressing any non-compliance issues and implementing corrective actions.

 

  • Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments to identify potential compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.

 

  • Training and Education: Provide training and education to employees on compliance-related matters, ensuring a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements and company policies.

 

  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance compliance processes and optimize efficiency within the quality assurance function.

 

 

Requirements

 

  • Understanding of traceability HACCP understanding & ideally trained to level 3.
  • Understanding of TACCP/Food Defence Ability to interpret risk assessments.
  • Attention to detail and ability to proofread documents without error.
  • Teamworking and ability to work with multiple teams within the business.
  • Time management and ability to prioritise workload.
  • IT literacy, including Outlook, Word & Excel.
