Job Role
Providing support to the Procurement and Operations Director in managing and maintaining key strategic supplier relationships.  You will also be playing a core role in the product development plans for the brand, including supporting our supplier scoping and selection process and negotiating contractual terms with suppliers.  

Responsibilities
•    Optimizing the commercial benefit from our suppliers
•    Negotiating contractual terms
•    Working on long-term strategies to ensure our suppliers can deliver for the growth ambitions of the brand
•    Driving continuous improvement plans with our suppliers throughout the supply chain
•    Pro-actively supporting the NPD program
•    You will be a key stakeholder and part of the delivery team for all new product launches
•    Scoping and analysis of potential supply partners to select suppliers who can deliver product quality, food safety, and production capabilities to the MG brand needs
•    Assessment, analysis, and briefings of supplier capabilities
•    Working closely with the supply team to ensure continuity of supply and efficiency in the supply chain process
•    Providing relevant market and product information to share with the team

Personal Profile
•    At least 2 years’ experience in a procurement role
•    Experience in an FMCG environment
•    Experience working on NPD projects team
•    Competency in managing stakeholders both internally and externally
•    Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
•    An excellent communicator and a brilliant eye for detail
•    Well-organized – you’ll have lots of plates spinning at once, and it’s important you’re comfortable with managing your time in delivery of multiple projects
•    Multi-talented. We’re a small team so you’ll need to be willing to get stuck into all areas of the business and work at pace
