Reed Food and FMCG have been briefed to recruit for a well-regarded business, for a Senior Technical Manager, on a Permanent basis, to drive the business forward aligning with their transformation plans.

Senior Technical Manager

£55,000-65,000 Per Annum, depending on experience

Location: London/Midlands (Hybrid, WFH up to 4 days per week)

Benefits: 20% Bonus, Flexible Working, Private Health, Pension, 25 days Holiday + BH

Experience required:

  • Previous experience of working in a Senior Quality Manager/Technical Manager role, driving the strategy forward
  • Acting as technical expert in terms of processes, suppliers, and new technological capabilities to support category transformation.
  • Good understanding of BRC or other GFSI and GMP standards

 


Key Responsibilities:

 

  • You will support the Head of Technical and Senior Technical Manager drive the quality and technical agenda within the business.
  • New supplier assessment and approval against safety, quality, sustainability, ethical sourcing, and product integrity standards
  • Line management and overseeing of the development of category Technical Managers
  • Specification and Quality Contract approvals
  • Acting as technical expert in terms of processes, suppliers, and new technological capabilities to support category transformation.
  • Identification and continuous review of the appropriate testing regiments for own label products underpin product safety, quality, efficacy, and any claims made on products.
  • Conduct supplier audits and visits
