Hygiene Supervisor

A leading client of ours within the food industry is on the hunt for a Hygiene Supervisor to join their ever-growing company and team. They are dedicated to ensuring that the site is audit ready at all times and that all hygiene standards are met. This is an exciting role to contribute to their commitment to delivering products to the highest standards at all times.

As a Hygiene Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our facility. You'll work closely with the Hygiene Manager to implement and enforce stringent cleaning protocols, ensuring that all equipment and machinery undergo thorough cleaning on a scheduled and regular basis.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the Hygiene Manager in ensuring all equipment and machinery are cleaned to the highest standards on schedule.
* Maintain a high level of hygiene practices throughout the department, in accordance with audit requirements.
* Assist in conducting internal audits, ensuring compliance with hygiene standards.
* Uphold factory GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) on a daily basis, ensuring the facility is clean and audit-ready at all times.
* Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve hygiene objectives.

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
* Experience working with key retailers is preferred but not essential.
* Familiarity with chilled and frozen products is advantageous.
* Strong understanding of food safety standards and HACCP principles is essential.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Salary Range: £35,000-£40,000
