Technical Services Manager

An established food business with a delightful range of products, essential to our dishes are looking for an experienced Technical Services Manager.

You will be working with the talented Technical team, working autonomously managing your team and supporting your stakeholders. A key contact relating to audits, food safety, certification and schedules.

Your key responsibilities will include:

*Maintaining the QMS processes and procedures and ensuring regular review and update and audit schedules are defined

*Participate in internal, and external food safety and quality audits working across all departments to identifying areas of great practices and continuous improvement

*Working with team members and stakeholders are working to ensure non-conformances identified, risk assessed, root cause investigated and corrective action implementation strategy followed through

*Training of Operations on critical food safety, legality and quality procedures and processes

*Analysing KPI's, trending, site performance and corrective actions

*Ensuring internal and external customer requirements are achieved and continually improved with regard to products post launch and issues arising from visits and audits

*Manage and maintain company HACCP system

*Leading services audits

*Liaising with customers and suppliers, building and maintaining effective relationships

*To ensure the successful delivery of the development cycle by providing relevant information at weekly project meetings, and those associated with the gated development process.

This is a great role for someone who loves systems, collaborating with multiple trams within the factory and a leader of their team in the technical services function.

You'll be self starter, displays genuine commitment, communicates with confidence with all levels from the factory floor and senior management to customers.

UK Food Manufacturing will be required, Food Related Degree Level or an equivalent standard Qualification would be desirable but not essential. Must have knowledge of HACCP, BRC and retailers COP's.
