Technical Services Manager

Renowned for their diverse product range and with a commitment to excellence in food safety, quality and customer satisfaction, they are seeking a proficient Technical Services Manager to join their dedicated team.

Position Overview: As the Technical Services Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of the technical department. Leading your own team, you will collaborate closely with the entire technical team to uphold their stringent standards. From internal and external audits to maintaining the HACCP system, you will oversee a spectrum of responsibilities crucial to their success.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage your own team within the technical department, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
* Participate in internal and external food safety and quality audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
* Build and nurture strong relationships with customers, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and effectively.
* Manage and maintain the company's HACCP system, ensuring its efficacy in safeguarding product quality and safety.
* Oversee the maintenance of Quality Management System (QMS) processes and procedures, continuously improving efficiency and effectiveness.
* Demonstrate a proven track record of effective team management and collaboration within a technical environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

* Prior experience in a similar technical position within the food and drink industry.
* Strong knowledge of HACCP and BRC standards, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building and maintaining customer relationships.
* Proven ability to manage and collaborate with technical teams effectively.
* Adept at handling compliance-related tasks with precision and attention to detail.
* Previous exposure to retailer requirements, while preferred, is not essential.
* Experience working with ambient products is preferred but not essential to the role.

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
