Job Title: Technical Manager - Food and Drink Industry

Position Overview: As a Technical Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance across operations. You will be responsible for overseeing all technical management activities on site. This includes maintaining adherence to accreditation standards, managing the QMS system, handling customer complaints, and leading internal and external audits.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide comprehensive technical management support, working closely with the technical team to drive excellence throughout the organization.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant processes, procedures, and accreditation standards, maintaining rigorous quality control measures.
* Manage and maintain the QMS system, ensuring it is up-to-date and reflective of current best practices.
* Address and resolve customer complaints promptly and effectively, implementing corrective actions as necessary to prevent reoccurrence.
* Lead internal and external customer audits, demonstrating a thorough understanding of industry regulations and requirements.
* Previous experience working with retailers is preferred, with a focus on meeting and exceeding their specific quality standards.
* Lead BRC audits that take place on site.
* Demonstrate strong leadership skills, effectively managing and motivating your team to achieve targets and deliver results.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
* Minimum of [X] years of experience in a technical management role within the food and drink industry.
* Proven track record of leading successful BRC audits and managing compliance with industry standards.
* Strong understanding of HACCP principles and experience in their practical application.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
* Experience working with chilled products is preferred, though not essential.

Salary: £50,000-£60,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
