Development Technologist – With Multiple category responsibility

The £1bn food group has expanded from its core of chilled food to now occupy category leadership status across several markets.  This has been achieved by focusing on the creation of fantastic quality products, developing close working teams and understanding their customers.

To continue this expansion, they seek to enhance and add to their existing range of products within their chilled and frozen categories and seek to appoint an individual able to operate as part of the wider development team.

Reporting to Senior Development Technologist, you will be responsible for supporting the concept to launch process and so increase the speed at which new innovations can arrive in market.

This could involve everything from management of suppliers and ingredients whilst making sure the nutritional objectives are achieved, through to delivering blue sky concepting as part of a wider team whilst overseeing the technical aspects of new projects.

Your flexibility to “be involved” is more important than your experience.

As such your desire to learn will increase your opportunity to earn skills which will support your wider career growth across the group.

With 1-3 years’ experience of NPD innovation or technical development, this will provide an opportunity to develop your career and lead to future promotion.
