Job Details

A market leading food ingredients business, very well regarded within the industry they produce consistently high-quality products and give extraordinary customer service.  This exceptional business now has an opportunity for a home-based, confident and enthusiastic account manager, to join them, selling their range of products.

The Role
Identify and acquire new accounts, establish, maintain and develop them 
Maintain and develop existing accounts allocated
Working with the development team to produce specific bespoke customer products as required
Maintain detailed knowledge of the company’s products and services 
Developing new and innovative ways of selling the company’s products
Anticipate potential opportunities by researching the relevant markets, competitor activity, locating potential events and marketing opportunities
Liaise with other department within the business 
Promoting new products and special offers
Initial 80/20 split new business vs account management
Report clearly and speedily on day-to-day activities, changing business trends, customer complaints, satisfaction, and competitors’ activities
Report on and update monthly sales forecasts for customers and prospects. 
Identify and attend relevant Trade exhibitions as required.

Personal Profile
Experience in sales or the Butcher trade desired but not essential
Competent IT skills
Knowledge and experience of using social media
Well organized and detail oriented
Good trouble shooter with strong multi-tasking skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to negotiate and understand the customers’ requirements.
Dynamic, positive working attitude
Driven with a desire to succeed and progress in their career.
Full Driving Licence
Electric company vehicle and bonus

Although home-based, you will be required to travel across the territory and other areas from time to time.
