Would you like to join a truly exciting, fun and vibrant Food Manufacturer who supply a large array of household names within the food and retail industry with their quality products? Our client based in the North London area is searching for a part-time Executive Assistant to join their team.

Job Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient day-to-day support for the MD’s schedule, email and priorities. You will provide support across the entire remit of the MDs role and work collaboratively with the wider company’s sales, marketing and ops teams. You will develop strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels, acting as an ambassador for the brand, influencing and driving a strong agenda of accountability, execution and delivery that ensures tasks are completed in a timely and impactful manner.

You will be highly organised, resilient and used to working in an extremely fast paced environment, capable of multitasking, prioritising urgent tasks as well as horizon scanning for the future. You will provide the MD with effective support on complex organisational matters, as well as assisting in facilitating effective decision-making and help in solving problems. The ideal
candidate will be able to operate independently, without direct supervision using sound,
thoughtful judgement.

You will be responsible for written and verbal communication with stakeholders and customers
and managing the MD’s inbox on her behalf. You will facilitate the resolving of matters that have
been escalated to the MD. You will also be responsible for undertaking research for the MD’s professional initiatives and strategic objectives with opportunity to project manage initiatives where appropriate.

● Acting as the point of contact for the MD’s office among executives, employees, clients
and other external partners.
● Building strong professional relationships with the wider company’s team and
overseeing cross-functional organisation wide projects/initiatives, bringing together
stakeholders to help drive decisions.
● Working collaboratively with the MD and wider business both collectively and
individually, accepting and owning accountability for the decisions made and offering
assistance where required.
● Providing the MD with recommendations, and options, regarding decisions to be made or
problems to be solved.
● Managing the MD’s calendar, meetings and their time allocations and managing the
broader business calendar ensuring all relevant parties are involved and briefed on
events/activities where necessary.
● Attending team meetings, noting actions required and ensuring they are carried out.
● Acting as the strategic and functional link between the MD and the wider organisation.
● Ensuring all staff matters are addressed properly, efficiently and judiciously, and keeping
a track of progress.
● Proactively leading by example and creating a culture of continuous improvement and

effectively and efficiently under pressure and to adapt to change
● Strong organisational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
● A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements
● Flexibility to align with the business needs of the team as they evolve
● Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in
● Advanced knowledge of the full Microsoft Office suite including PowerPoint, Excel and
Word, and a natural interest and aptitude for learning new systems
● Methodical, logical approach with good attention to detail and problem-solving skill
