Protea Recruitment is excited to be working with a well-known Scottish brand based in Edinburgh, which is looking for an energetic, strong leader to join its team. Although experience with all aspects of the job description below is beneficial, this is not essential. Our client is looking for a strong leader with the ability to learn.

Job Title: Production Manager

Location: Edinburgh

Product: Ambient

Salary: TBC

Shifts: Mon to Friday (weekends required during seasonal periods)

• Employee Management
• Managing site H&S requirements
• Managing and improving process efficiencies
• Managing the maintenance schedule
• Managing and monitoring the traceability of all raw materials and finished products
• Maintaining the site QMS and HACCP plan, and ensuring the site meets all food safety/legal and quality requirements
• Responsible for food safety/legal and quality decisions
• Managing & monitoring CCPs
• Managing adherence to site allergen and organic controls
• Managing Food Defence & Authenticity – TACCP Plan
• Developing and continually improving SBH Food Safety and Quality Culture.
• Helping with HR and payroll administration, and Managing annual leave and sickness absence
