Product Developer for Oxfordshire based ‘Free From’ Food Manufacturer, responsible for creating and enhancing our products, managing the process from concept to launch.  Hands on, site-based role with potential to work 1 day per week from home.

Reporting to the Managing Director, responsibilities for the role will include:
•    The ideation, formulation, and development of new products from concept to launch.
•    Continuously improving existing recipes and formulations 
•    Thorough testing and analysis of product prototypes to ensure they meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
•    Providing training to production staff to ensure successful scale-up and implementation of new products.
•    Working closely with artwork designers from ideation stage through to sign off.
•    Leading weekly NPD meetings/ weekly test panels

Essential / Desirable skills include:
•    Passion for food innovation and a commitment to creating delicious, high-quality products.
•    Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Culinary Arts, or related field 
•    Experience in new product development (preferable in a bakery environment).
•    Strong understanding of ingredients and recipe development
•    Proven track record of successfully launching new food products from concept to launch
•    Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously

The hours for the role are Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm. The salary is £40k - £45k per annum.
