Our client is a leading company in the food industry known for its commitment to excellence in hygiene standards and product quality. They are dedicated to delivering top-tier products to their customers while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facilities.

Position Overview: They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hygiene Manager to join the dynamic hygiene team. As the Hygiene Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our facility is audit-ready at all times and that all hygiene standards are meticulously maintained. You will lead and coordinate the hygiene team, driving continual improvement and ensuring compliance with BRC standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee all aspects of hygiene within the facility, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
* Coordinate and manage the hygiene team to ensure tasks are conducted efficiently and effectively.
* Develop and maintain audit and hygiene schedules, ensuring thoroughness and accuracy.
* Lead the hygiene team in driving continual improvement initiatives to enhance hygiene practices and efficiency.
* Ensure the site meets the rigorous requirements for BRC standards.
* Collaborate with other departments to maintain seamless operations and uphold hygiene standards.
* Monitor and manage hygiene-related documentation and records.


* Previous experience in a similar position within the FMCG industry is essential.
* Proven track record of managing and leading a hygiene team effectively.
* Strong understanding of hygiene standards, regulations, and best practices.
* Experience with audit processes and compliance requirements.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
* Previous experience working with chilled product categories is preferred but not essential.

Salary: £40,000-£45,000 (Dependent on experience)
