Specifications Genius Wanted!

Join an agile technical team, where you'll report to the Technical Services Manager and play a crucial role in writing and maintaining product specifications. With a typical work schedule of Monday to Friday and the flexibility for remote work, you'll oversee various tasks.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Generate finished product specifications and product labels
• Process, review, and approve specifications
• Ensure timely completion of accurate customer specifications and submission forms, meeting policy and best practice requirements
• Approve finished product artwork and final print samples to meet customer and legal requirements
• Create product assembly sheets
• Stay updated with customer and legal requirements
• Perform other ad hoc administrative duties as needed

This fast-paced role requires technical expertise in manufacturing processes, including HACCP qualifications, internal auditing and risk assessment skills. Ideally you possess a bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field, coupled with at least 2 years of experience as a specification’s technologist. You are self-motivated with excellent problem-solving abilities, organisational skills and knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices. Strong communication skills and the capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are also crucial for success in this role.
