Technical Manager

Job Title: Technical Manager

We have recently partnered with an industry leading company who are actively seeking a Technical Manager to join their rapidly expanding team. They are in an exciting phase of development due to recent investments into the company and therefore need a Technical Manager to lead the technical and quality department. You will play a pivotal role in the Senior Leadership Team and have the opportunity to drive excellence in your own team.

Responsibilities:

-Lead the technical and quality department, providing support and training to both existing and new team members.
-Drive a robust food safety culture on site and implement strategic approaches to enhance quality standards.
-Oversee both internal and external audits, including BRC and customer audits, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
-Manage the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure alignment with BRC standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

-Previous experience in a Senior Technical role is essential, demonstrating a strong understanding of quality management systems and industry standards.
-Proven experience working with ambient products, with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and requirements associated with this sector.
-Demonstrated experience leading BRC audits and managing audit processes effectively.
-Track record of success in similar managerial positions, with a focus on driving excellence and achieving results.
