Job Title: Logistics Compliance Manager

Responsibilities will include:
- Ensure, advise, and instruct the operator to comply with operating legislation.
- Vehicle maintenance planning.
- Ensure all vehicles are operated in a roadworthy condition.
- Ensure & oversee that the correct vehicle maintenance procedures (PMIs and repairs) are in place (PMI – Preventive Maintenance Instruction).
- Monitor External Maintenance Contractors & visit workshops regularly.
- Ensure vehicles are presented for PMIs on the correct dates.
- Ensure vehicles are booked in & presented for MOTs on the correct dates.
- Monitor Operator Compliance Risk Score (OCRS) scores & encounter reports.
- Maintain & Audit maintenance records & ensure they are kept for 15 months.
- Ensure drivers conduct daily walk-round checks efficiently.
- Liable for any shortcomings in maintenance & prohibitions issued.
- Attend prearranged VOSA inspections at operating centres.
- Oversee vehicle scheduling.
- Ensure Drivers are scheduled in compliance with EU and Domestic driving rules.
- Ensure digital cards are in date.
- Maintain and keep driving records for 12 months.
- Regularly check drivers' digital & analogue tachographs charts/printouts.
- Provide warnings of any driving infringements to drivers.
- Check driver's vocational driving licences every 6 months.
- Ensure, Arrange & Oversee the Driver's CPC Training program.
- Be approachable & available for drivers.
- Provide training to drivers.
- Operator Licence variation applications.
- Quarterly audit of vehicle compliance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a logistics compliance role within the FMCG industry, preferably in the food sector.
- Strong understanding of operating legislation and compliance standards.
- Ability to effectively oversee vehicle maintenance procedures and manage external contractors.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and conducting audits.
- Familiarity with digital and analogue tachographs and driving regulations.
- CPC qualification is Essential.
