The Company

This fast pace, chilled food business are in an exciting period of growth and are currently seeking a Specification Technologist to join them on their journey of success.

The Role

Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, this is a fast pace role where you will need to hit the ground running. You’ll be creating, updating and maintain specifications for a variety of customer food service and travel customer accounts.

You will manage internal systems and external online specification portals ensuring all information is correctively collated and in line with the latest food legislation, regulatory and compliance standards. You’ll also liaise with internal teams frequently to ensure information is collated and timescales are aligned.

The Person

Prior experience as an Specification Technologist within a fast pace food manufacturing environment is required, as well as experience dealing with travel and food service customer accounts.

You’ll have the ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects, be able to work at pace and liaise with suppliers as well as cross functionally. You’ll need a good understanding of the technical processes of product development, superb attention to detail, organisation skills and the confidence to work autonomously.

Experience on Quadex being advantageous.

This is a hybrid role that will see you spend the first few months on site getting to know the business, team and site. Therefore, local candidates with access to great transport links, or a UK driving license will be needed.
