As the Technical Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety, quality, and compliance across their multi-factory site. You will lead a talented team of technical professionals, overseeing all aspects of food safety and quality assurance processes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge products and uphold our reputation as a leader in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement robust food safety and quality management systems in accordance with industry regulations and company standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of technical/quality specialists, providing guidance and support to drive continuous improvement and excellence.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of technical processes with production, procurement, and supply chain operations.
- Drive innovation and optimization initiatives to enhance product quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Act as a key liaison with regulatory agencies, customers, and suppliers, representing the company's technical interests and fostering strong partnerships.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field preferred.
- Extensive experience in a technical leadership role within the food manufacturing industry, preferably across large sites.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, BRC, FSSC), quality management systems, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven track record of implementing and maintaining effective quality assurance programs and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards shared goals.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a passion for delivering high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
