Job Title: Industrial Trainer - Food and Drink
Status: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: £32,595 - £35,246 (A35-A38) per annum
We are a leading-edge technical college facility in Cheshire providing a state-of-the art research and development food facility for learning and commercial activity.
The facility boasts of Bakery, Butchery and Dairy Capabilities and operates under BRC standards.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Food and Drink Industry Training team, here at the Reaseheath Food Centre.
An experienced Industry trainer/Food Graduate is required to deliver food skills training courses, to external clients both in their place of work and occasional delivery on campus.
The ideal candidate should be a highly motivated individual with a comprehensive and up to date working knowledge of the food and drink industry. This should be evidenced through relevant industry experience and CPD.
An excellent approach to customer care and client relationship building is essential. Working with our clients face to face and remotely.
Proven interpersonal and people management skills is essential. The skillset of managing workload, timelines and diary is essential for this role.
You should hold a Food Science Degree or equivalent. An opportunity to undertake teaching qualification and relevant CPD will be offered as part of the role.
The role will be college based with regular travel across the UK to client sites, therefore a Full UK driving license is essential.
Please note this role constitutes ‘regulated activity’ as defined by the Protection of Freedom Act 2012. The successful candidate will therefore be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check with barred list information prior to starting employment. You must have the right to work in the UK and will be required to provide evidence to support this.
