Job Details
The Company/Role.
This role has been established to enhance the business capabilities to deliver the commercialisation of NPD projects to scale customer products within a manufacturing setting. To do this, you will understand and support development of new products from our raw materials to design and integrate the right process technology / conditions to facilitate the implement of large-scale solutions.
Key Accountabilities.
- Delivery of a New Product Developments Processes that are fully integrated at large scale and handed over to Factory operations as business as usual
- Performance measured on Project Based Objectives
- To keep abreast of product and process developments within the industry ensuring a robust pipeline of activities
- To evaluate new processes and new technology, related to processing and integrate at large scale these new processes.
- Define process conditions and support commissioning of new large-scale capital installations
- To project manage the coordination of trials.
- Trials that require changes to the process (Temporary or permanent) will be supported by the Projects management team to include capex, project design and project engineering.
- To provide technical expertise to sales in the development of new products; support of existing products and creating more value.
Personal Profil.
- Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Microbiology or Food Technology
- Project Management Qualifications
- Expert use of Microsoft Excel critical to this role - good analytical skills and data manipulation
- Strong reporting and communication skills
- Experience in a relevant role working with process equipment at pilot / large scale
- Self Motivated, self starter and driven to deliver against a strategic target
- Questions and challenges what is considered normal – dissatisfied with average
- Ability to work accurately, calmly and objectively under pressure
- Excellent analytical & numeracy and structured approach to work relying on factual evidence to support hypothesis
- Effective Project Management
- In-depth and Hands on knowledge of manufacturing processes
