About the Regulatory Advisor job
The purpose of your role will be to ensure provision of safe, honestly marketed food meets their legal, commercial and moral standards.
Key tasks
- Maintain and extend a high level of awareness of current food legislation, related issues and likely developments, in food legislation in the EU as well as German speaking countries.
- Support outside these geographic regions is also likely. Assist and advise members, clients and colleagues on the content, application and interpretation of regulatory requirements as well as the initiation of new business and deliver contract services on time and within budget.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of research projects and regulatory publications.
- Recommend and implement change in services, products and systems.
- Develop self to enhance performance and professionalism.
- Create, maintain and enhance effective working relationships.
About You
The successful candidate should possess a food science degree or a related subject, with a minimum of 1 years’ experience and knowledge of food law acquired in a commercial, enforcement or policy setting. Fluency in German and English is essential to this role with the ability to read and interpret food law in German speaking countries. Additional languages would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels, both verbally and written.
- Be results and deadline driven.
- Experience of customer service and interaction with clients would be advantageous.

The Regulatory Advisor job is based in Homebased and is paying £35,000 - £42,000 according to your experience.
