As Maintenance Engineering Manager, you will report directly to the Engineering Manager. With this role comes a great deal of autonomy, and an opportunity to make a difference within the team and be part of the expansion plans on-site. Other key accountabilities will be to develop the teams of Engineers and upskill/train on all engineering competencies, as well as drive improvements in process and plant reliability, efficiency and effectiveness, and compliance.

A big part of the role will be understanding and implementing Lean Manufacturing techniques such as 5S, OEE, PPM’s, and SMED. We are seeking a manager who can confidently put these techniques into play. The successful candidate will also be involved with the running of the engineering teams on shift, dealing with 2 Team leaders and teams of 4 engineers on each shift, as well as a CI team and a Wastewater Treatment team.

To be considered for this role, you will need to have a real drive for improvement and pride in your role. Experience within the food/FMCG industry is desired but not essential. Looking to speak to Maintenance Managers and Engineering Managers within the Suffolk area with 3+ years in Management.
